Description

This single-family home was designed based on the urban planning constraints of the plot, maximizing the buildable area. Two key outdoor spaces were preserved: a front area for parking and access, and a large rear patio as an open-air retreat.

The program prioritized a single-level layout, eliminating the need for stairs. To achieve this, two distinct volumes of different heights were created, both on the ground floor:

  • The first volume houses the daytime area (living room, kitchen, and dining space), distinguished only by a slight elevation change rather than physical separations.
  • The second volume contains the nighttime area, including the bedrooms and private spaces.

A small central patio between these volumes enhances natural lighting and ventilation.

The aesthetic is defined by a neutral color palette (dark gray, white, and wood), maintaining a refined yet understated design. Different textures and finishes highlight the edges and protrusions, adding depth to the facades.
