This project involves the complete renovation of a single-family home, where a central patio has traditionally served as the main axis of distribution.

To preserve the patio’s significance, characteristic of vernacular architecture, the spaces are reorganized around it. The kitchen is strategically placed between the staircase vestibule and the living room, allowing the patio to remain a separate outdoor space when desired. However, it can also be fully opened, integrating seamlessly with the kitchen and other rooms, functioning almost like an extension of the living area.

The glass enclosures surrounding the patio visually connect all the spaces, creating a sense of fluid and dynamic spatial unity.
